The D’Amicis Institute Model of the United Nations was created to give students a space where their opinion is heard and valued. It’s a place where students are encouraged to challenge themselves, step outside their comfort zones, and develop new skills. Beyond the academic experience, D’AMUN offers the opportunity to meet people, build friendships, is connecting with students who share the same passion for global issues and leadership.
The committees for DAMUN XXVIII are chaired by students who are fully prepared to ensure the best possible experience for delegates. Their dedication and hard work are the core of DAMUN XXVIII.

This model aims to provide students with an opportunity to strengthen their leadership, diplomacy, public speaking, negotiation, and critical thinking skills while collaborating with delegates from different schools to debate today’s most pressing situations. It also promotes teamwork, responsibility, commitment, and open-mindedness.

D’AMUN firmly believes that the voices around us can change the world. Every idea matters. Every perspective is valuable. Everyone deserves to be recognized.
